Who’s A Safer Driver, Male Or Female

Created only a a hundred ago, automobiles have become the kings of the roads. It is now not possible to think of lives without cars, buses planes and countless other vehicles. The demand for vehicles is ever increasing, and the car dealer marketing is now shifting towards broader online marketing through car dealer websites.

Like everything else, automobile manufacturers are not making any gender based car. However, many people like to call small and cute autos as a chick car. But even these automobiles match up to their bigger counterpart in terms of speed and performance. Many have proven that beauty and speed is a concept beyond size. However, the debate over who is a good driver among men and women is never ending.

Many of the answers corresponding to this debate tend to be really biased. However, one must know that driving is not about someone’s strength or size. It concerns the way one reacts to a situation, and the way one takes decision. Now, clearly not all males are the same nor all females alike so, it can be understood that driving skills and performance vary from person to person rather than genders. Most people debate about the fact that it is no more a male-oriented society, and that women today have proven to be exceptionally capable of anything. However, from time to time we have learned that it is not the society that believes in male dominance, it is its mentality. Despite proving themselves in all the aspect and profession, women are still the weaker sex, thus regarded as incapable of performing tasks which once they were not permitted to.

Clearly, we can chain this assumption back to the medieval times when women were not as good as males were in riding horses just for the reason they weren’t offered equal opportunity to learn. But today facts have shown that women drivers are involved in lower number of road accidents than males. Yet, this still doesn’t prove females to be better drivers. The reason behind this fact is that men, especially in their younger years, are more rebellious and careless. On the contrary women, in any age, are wary and careful. The dissimilarity of attitude is not the sole thing that makes things difficult to deliberate. Studies have shown that men and women’s brains function differently in different circumstancwes. For example, men are likely to take quick and short term decisions while women take time and make long term decisions.

The power to think quickly does prove handy while in an a sudden abrupt traffic situation. However, it is still dificuly say tell which is better, making quick but faulty decision or getting right but late. still, it won’t be wrong to say that today there are many men and women who defy the odds. There are many women who can think quickly and also a few men who put a lot of time and emotion in their final decisions. So, once again the war of sexes ends without any definite winner. But, if you have an insurance company, ensure you charge your male prospects a little more than the females. No gender bias intended- it’s just a friendly business advice.
