More and more customers are deciding topurchase their food locally which is good for the earth by saving the fuel that was originally used to transport that food a far distance. A lot of farmers are also marketing their food to be more green by not using harmful chemicals or pesticides.

One final area many people do not think of but it quite important is what you choose for when you die . Like A lot of other things, cemeteries are also choosing more natural ways for burial. There are only four such burial sites in America but they are believers in returning your body to the earth in an organic state with no embalming fluid or steel casket materials. Everything is done with concern for the environment.
